Not medical advice
Solid Start is a private note-taking tool for parents to track which foods have been introduced to their child. It is notmedical advice and is not a substitute for advice, diagnosis or treatment from a qualified health professional, including (but not limited to) a GP, paediatrician, allergist, dietitian or maternal & child health nurse.
Use at your own risk
You are solely responsible for every feeding decision you make for your child. The app may contain bugs, may show out-of-date information, may be unavailable, and may incorrectly identify foods or ingredients (including from photos). Always verify ingredients and allergens yourself. If you suspect an allergic reaction, follow the advice of a medical professional; in an emergency in Australia, call 000 immediately.
Age guidance
Age guidance shown for individual foods is informational, drawn from Australian and international consensus sources. It is not medical advice — your paediatrician's advice for your child always overrides anything you see here.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without any representation, warranty or condition of any kind, express or implied, including (but not limited to) warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, reliability or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law (including the Australian Consumer Law in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)), the operators of Solid Start exclude all liability for any loss, damage, injury, illness, cost, expense or claim of any kind (whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or otherwise) arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the app or any information it presents.
Where a guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability for breach of that guarantee is limited, at our option, to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of having the service re-supplied.
Data
Your account information and feeding entries are stored in a private Google Sheet maintained by the operator. You can request deletion at any time by contacting the admin who invited you.
